ONLY REMEMBER...

Life, long or short, ought to be well spent. Once the sliver cord is broken and man goes to his eternal home, he is scarcely remembered for his deeds. The deeds of kindness: lending helping hands to others, caring for widows and the fatherless, giving words of comfort to the grieved, meeting just needs. Food to the hungry, water to the sick, succor to the forsaken being eyes to the blind and feet to the lame will always be remembered long when a person is forgotten.
At the end of a well spent life the many lives that have been touched, the investment made in others and impact made in God’s kingdom will linger on. A life worth living cares about others makes it a life’s purpose to be a helper of peoples Joy; make others happy and successful. It yield high return and pays great dividends. When at the end of your life’s journey here on earth and others recall the role you have played in their lives, what would they remember you for? Good or Evil. Each day provides an opportunity to write what others will remember you about tomorrow.
Men may not be able to repay but every action and deeds of men come to reckoning before God “who will render to every man according to his deeds” He keeps record of godly deeds, labors of love and faithful service rendered in his name he takes record, so “that everyone may receive the things done whether it be good or bad” therefore look well to how you live; there’s a reckoning at the end of each life A few word of Ira D. sankey’s song captured the message vividly, he wrote:
Only remembered
Only remembered
By what we have done
Thus would be pass from
The earth and its toiling
Only remembered by
What we have done.
